Harder and faster than their 76-77 predecessors, not to mention more aggressive and political, the likes of Discharge, The Exploited and GBH were to prove not only more relevant but arguably just as influential.Burning Britain - The DVD is being released in conjunction with Ian GlasperÆs book -Burning Britain - A History Of UK Punk 1980-1984- (available through Cherry Red Books), and provides a unique visual insight into some of the main players in the second wave of UK punk.A mix of promo videos and, in many cases, extremely rare live material from the likes of The Exploited, GBH, The Destructors, Peter And The Test Tube Babies and many others, the DVD documents the raw passion and creativity that fired the UK punk scene during the first half of the 1980Æs.
