A l'occasion de ses 25 ans de carrière, Texas revisite ses meilleurs morceaux. Le groupe est ainsi retourné à la source et aux racines de sa musique, la soûl. L'album propose une réinterprétation unique des titres qui ont fait le succès de Texas, de "I Don't want a lover" à "The conversation". Sharleen et Johnny sont rentrés en studio à New York, au début de l'été 2014, pour travailler avec le duo de producteurs Truth & Soul (Lee Fields, Aloe Blacc). Texas a réenregistré ses titres phares, mais aussi quatre nouvelles chansons inédites.
