"Last dance" nous présente les deux immenses musiciens pour une conversation musicale bouleversante après des années d'interruption. Paru en 2010, l'album évènement "Jasmine" de Keith Jarrett et Charlie Haden connaît un succès phénoménal. La séance d'enregistrement dans le studio de Keith Jarrett qui est à son origine fût tellement riche et créative qu'une suite s'imposait naturellement... C'est ainsi qu'aujourd'hui "Last dance" nous livre encore plus de musique de cette session. On retrouve dans la nouvelle sélection les standards "Round midnight" de Thelonious Monk et "Dance of the infidels" de Bud Powell, vertigineusement interprétés par le duo.
